December 16 is the due date for Ritchie's latest detective adventure, Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows. Some will call it Sherlock Holmes 2 – like we did in the headline – but those people would be wrong. So there you go.
We bring up the release date of Downey Jr.'s second outing as the world's greatest detective because it really isn't that far away – about six weeks now.
So it's no suprise that their publicity team are kicking things up a gear and released things like, well, this collection of character banner posters.{New Sherlock Character Posters}
Showing off Jared Harris's Moriarty, Noomi Rapace's Sim and, of course, Downey Jr. and Jude Law as Holmes and Watson, it's all about the guns, the knives, the batons. This is an action movie, people, and don't you forget it!
A Game Of Shadows is out on December 16.
